I made this for a neighborhood backyard bbq and it was devoured in no time. I used the low sodium bacon and brought sliced baguette bread to spread the dip on. I loved the flavors but being a blue cheese lover, would make this with a little more blue cheese the next time I make this.

I took this dip to a party and it was the star! I am now required to bring it to all of the cookouts! I used fat free half and half, and garlic powder ( I didn't realize I was out of garlic). I also used green onion because I needed that for another recipe. Everything still turned out wonderful. I think it's all about the quality of the bleu cheese. I used the Boar's Head, less sodium variety and the flavor was great. Thanks for posting!

Really good, but heavy duty rich! I'm using the leftovers to top my burgers. Thanks for posting.

We LOVE this! It is great to take to a potluck as it always disappears. Great recipe!!!! I chop up the bacon before cooking to make it crispier.

I made this yesterday actually. I got it from the Spring chapter in the Vera Bradley cookbook... except it was spell bleu cheese. I wasn't hungry when i made it for my christmas party but when my guests arrived, they attacked it... It was a big hit. Although it was salty, it balanced out well with fresh green apple slices. My friend lynn couldn't wait to write this down!

I'm not going to rate this since it's been a while since I made it, but I want to make a suggestion. I thought the bacon made it way too salty. You may want to get low sodium bacon or cut down on the amount. If you like the bacon flavor, you can always add more, but you can't take it out once it's mixed in. Other than that, it was a pretty good recipe.
