Delicious and simple. Whole foods had fresh, organic figs on sale, blue cheese on sale and French bread. It was very simple to make and I would make this again. I grilled the fig pieces until they had sear marks on them which really gave them a nice flavor. Everything tasted very nice together and the flavor was deep. Thanks for the recipe.people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you? Yes | No We don't know who you are. My take on this to use up very ripe figs is to push the cheese into the fig halves. Wrap with 1/2 slice microwave cooked bacon, around the side not over the top hold with toothpick. Drizzle with a mix of honey and balsamic vinegar. Thank you "chef vally UK". Broil or grill until the cheese is melted. Yum!people found this review Helpful.
