We have made these with beef for years, but I wanted to try the turkey. Both the DH and I do not like the blueberries in the turkey. We use fresh blueberries and it just didn't taste right. I am going to try it with dried cherries or dried cranberries because we love them in beef and it might work with the turkey. Thanks for posting.

Your suggestion to make this recipe with ground chicken intrigued me. I've never made a chicken burger and decided to give it a try. What a pleasant surprise! I added some of the seasonings you suggested in the description: garlic powder, dried parsley, and onion powder. While DH wasn't as thrilled with the burgers, I really enjoyed my first chicken burger. The blueberries really make this burger special. Thanks for posting this recipe. It's given me a delicious option other than beef for burgers.
